I'm Evelyn Gbato, Human Services worker. A proud mom of three, and my life has been built on the pillars of faith, family, resilience, and purpose. But in December 26 2023, my world was rocked when I was diagnosed with Invasive carcinoma of breast ER positive, PR positive, HER2 negative Stage II. It was a devastating blow, but as I navigated the dark waters of cancer, I discovered a strength within me that I never knew existed.

Inspiring Life Together (ILT) has been a lifeline, providing me with emotional support, financial support a sense of sisterhood, and valuable resources. Being part of a community of women who understand what I'm going through has been a source of comfort and strength. As I move forward, I'm filled with a renewed sense of hope, faith, and purpose. I'm thankful for every lesson, every connection, and every moment that reminds me that my story still matters.
